31/07/2019
CANOPY TO COMPLETE IT’S FIRST STAGE The Canopy community will soon deliver it’s very first stage. The community has come to life, with new streets, footpaths, roads and homesites appearing for the first time. STAGE 1 The construction of Stage 1 is now complete. Stonewalls, asphalt roads and footpaths have all been constructed and our new intersection with Cranbourne-Frankston Road is complete. Brown Civil is in the final stages of seeking compliances from the service authorities and expects to have titles in early August. The new stage looks fantastic, with feature stone walls and streets winding around the large Canopy trees, this new community will be a special place to come home to every day. The next step for Brown Civil is to undertake the landscape package of work within Stage 1. This will complete the stage and will include the feature entry, tree reserve planting and new street trees. STAGE 2 Stone walls, asphalt roads and footpaths have all been completed within Stage 2. The Brown Civil team is topsoiling and undertaking the finishing touches to complete Stage 2 before applying for compliance from the service authorities in the first weeks of August. STAGE 3 The civil team has completed the installation of the electrical services, telecommunications, light poles and kerbs. Our stonemason is building the stone walls throughout Stage 3, while Brown Civil constructs the footpaths and completes the roads. STAGE 5 The construction team is continuing to undertake bulk earthworks to shape the first streets within Stage 5. ENTRY WETLANDS The civil works for the Canopy Entry Wetlands are complete. The landscape works within the wetlands will commence later this year, which will transform the basin into a fully functioning wetland.
